Caso de exito con email marketing

Thursday, April 1st, 2010

Email Marketing Campaign

A successful UK email marketing campaign might give you access to thousands of shoppers who might wish to buy your services or goods. However, there is a necessary issue to take care of when you are planning an email advertising campaign: it’s known as “permission.”

Email Marketing Campaign

Let’s Define “Permission”?

Permission is in reference to acquiring an “OK” from someone to whom you send a commercial email. The most effective means of achieving this is to put an “opt-in” feature on your web site where customers agree to receive such materials. According to some professionals in email marketing campaign management, if you don’t have explicit permission, your unsolicited email message is considered spam. Since many ISPs have sophisticated spam filters, your emails could be eternally blocked. So if you’re spending time and resources creating an email advertising campaign, doesn’t it make sense to handle the issue of permission proactively?

For What Reason is Permission Essential?

Spam is regarded very negatively by Internet service providers (ISPs) and other people who supply and preserve web sites and Internet access. If you are labelled a “spammer,” it could be that your ISP may cut out your account. Plus, what you are doing may be against the law some places. Therefore it would be a smart idea to employ an email marketing services agency that could aid you sort out the whimsical notions of email marketing campaigns. Other than the validity issues, people say that the smartest and longest lasting customer contacts based on permission.

Email Marketing Campaign

How Would You Define Permission?

The definition of permission is a controversial subject amongst email marketing service providers. It’s important to remember that the concept of permission is somewhat indirect because it’s ultimately the ISPs, instead of you, that determine if they want to accept emails through to their shoppers; thus, clear permission, is vital. For example: A patron purchases something from an Internet retailer. During checkout, the customer is asked to tick a box that says “Please send me info on sales and special offers.” When the customer ticks that box, he or she is permitting overt permission for him or her to be sent something like an email marketing newsletter.

So, when you are creating an email marketing campaign in the UK, take into account the perils and benefits coupled with getting permission or not from your prospective buyers.

The Elements of Email Marketing Campaign Design

Wednesday, August 26th, 2009

A good email marketing campaign design results from several things.  Keeping it simple is the first and foremost, but if it contains a flashy headline and opening with no real content, you are unlikely to get the results you desire.Readers tend to be turned off by ‘gimmicky’ emails, so you should avoid that by using the elements of design presented below.

Begin with a newsletter format.  The Nielson Norman Group reports that the average email newsletter reader spends an average of fifty seconds in review.   However, a simple email is likely to hold a readers attention for only about four seconds.   So, a newsletter is a better choice because it will likely hold your readers attention for ten times as long. This now brings us to the ideal design of the newsletter or email.

The most import thing is to prepare an email marketing design that will not only capture the readers attention immediately, but will also pull in the reader for a much longer time.   Most consumers only read a small fraction of the emails they get, and most of the ones that are actually opened are only scanned for content.People respond differently to advertising design, so it is critical that you have a good understanding of the audience you are trying to reach and that you design your message to appeal to them specifically.

Knowing that the majority of emails never get opened, you need to employ a subject line that will attract attention better than the rest to offer you any chance.  Most email marketers personalize the subject line, as well as the actual body copy.   Your subject line must be presented in a way that clearly promises a unique and exeptional solution to a particular problem or issue.  Alternative, the subject line may challenge a commonly held belief or notion that your email marketing list target audience may hold.  Take a few days to list the subject lines that have compelled you to actually read an incoming email, then analyze them to understand why they worked with you.

Another of the key elements in your email design may involve the use of colors and graphics in ways that  that quickly call  the attention of your readers to key benefit statements and calls for action.  At the same time, be sure that the colors do not impact the flow of the narrative in a negative by integrating them smoothly, and that any graphics employed have a clear purpose other than to simply be pretty or attractive.Graphics and colors must be used only in a way that they clearly add to or enhance the message being presented.

Additionally, recognizing that you really have only 4-5 seconds to gain the attention of the typical email scanner, you need to present your copy in a way that the key elements and challenges of your message stand out quickly.   Furthermore, they must be presented in a way that not only grabs attention, but also compels the reader to continue on to get even better information.

Finally, your email marketing message must convey a clear and compelling call for action from the reader.  Be very specific about what you want them to do and provide them all the information and contact information they will need to get the action accomplished quickly.  For further information on how to successfully employ email marketing, visit Network Online Reviews for a variety of articles and reviews of email marketing products.

E-mail Marketing Campaign: Mistakes to Avoid to Guarantee a Successful Venture

Email Marketing Campaign UK

There are any number of pluses to a organized e-mail marketing campaign. But likewise, a poor one can cripple your relationship with current customers and prospective ones. How do you keep away from such mistakes? Let’s look!

Don’t Jump In Without Research

Have your topic already clear in your mind. How-to articles? Unique offers? Corporate news? Have a rough-draft strategy of the content before jumping in. Check to ensure your workers are up to date on the email advertising campaign giving them the ability to take on any questions posed by consumers. Also, know what you want from your reader. Lots of companies create an e-mail list and gather ordinary information (name, address, e-mail, etc.), then learn that they should have also asked more detailed questions for filtering their audience further. It’s a bad idea to bug your customers asking them for data over and over again.

Email Marketing Campaign

Don’t Bite Off More than You Can Chew

There are two pieces to this one. First, it’s poor planning to kick off your e-mail campaign with a newsletter nearly every other day. Begin with less. Newsletters circulating once per month, two months, or even three months would be okay to begin with. You shouldn’t risk disappointing customers by starting strong then finishing weak. Also, be sure not to overload your newsletter with excessive information. A good newsletter can turn into a boring one quickly, and you don’t want readers to become uninterested.

Don’t Link Your E-Newsletter to a Personal E-mail Account

With the ease of opening a new e-mail account, it’s amazing to think that some people still use their personal e-mail account for business. Don’t let it happen to you. It looks much more professional to use a business name than, say lovebug255@hotmail.com. Or let’s pretend an employee has chosen bob_smith_315@gmail.com but doesn’t remain employed with the company? Now you have people sending e-mails to an ex-employee. So you see the benefits of staying with company e-mails.

UK Email Marketing Campaign

Be Sure Not to Spam People.

This one is self-explanatory. It makes your business look overly aggressive at best, and desperate at worst. Each of these is pretty negative, so ensure that you’re not forcing your publication on people who didn’t request it.

If you take care of your e-mail marketing campaign properly, you’ll have loyal customers who are more than happy to return to you over and over. If your patrons are happy, they’ll tell all their friends—meaning new shoppers. So everyone’s happy!
